Girl Scout Swaps: Weather Forecaster

Girl Scout Swaps are a great way to involve the girls in creating items to share with other troops. Swaps can be created and shared at service unit events, or council events. The girls love to create swaps and the ideas are endless on what can be created.

Today, I found this great YouTube video on how to create a Weather Forecaster Swap. In the beginning of the video, it also shows other ideas for swaps which can be created by Girl Scouts.

  • Contrast between different types of forecasts
  • Use weather maps to distinguish weather patterns
  • Understand the ins and outs of the weather
